Eleanor's Story

I started Joyful Voices because I believe every person has a voice worth developing — and that the best learning happens when students feel safe, encouraged, and genuinely excited about singing.

My approach is rooted in classical technique: breath control, posture, resonance, and musicality. But the atmosphere in every lesson is anything but stiff. Whether you're a nervous beginner or preparing for your Grade 8 ABRSM exam, you'll leave every session with something new.

Over the years I've taught children in primary and secondary schools, adult learners returning to music, and students now studying at LIPA and Performers College in Essex. Seeing students grow in confidence — not just in singing, but in how they carry themselves — is what keeps me teaching.

Now based in Dubai, I teach in-person across the city and online to families in the UK, the GCC, and beyond. The curriculum, standards, and warmth are exactly the same — wherever you are in the world.
